About

With this integration, you will be able to make phone calls using VOCPhone in Salesforce CRM and Import your Salesforce contacts in the Vocphone portal.

Prerequisite/Requirement

  • Integrated Salesforce in VOCPhone Marketplace.

  • You have to install the Package App from Salesforce “VOCPhone Apps“ in your salesforce account.

  • You have to set the user(extension) that your Salesforce account will use to make phone calls.

Setup

Input your salesforce domain

After clicking the Proceed button, you need to input your salesforce domain. Every salesforce account has their domain.

Copy and paste your domain into the input box and click Install button.

After the domain verification you will have to login to your salesforce account and click Allow to proceed to the integration.

You should see a success message and Click the Install Salesforce VOCPhone Apps button.

You can also install the app later by clicking the gear button inside the salesforce box then click Install App Package.

Installing the Salesforce App

When you got to the App package link, you will be brought in this page. Install it for All users or depending on your choice you can restrict it for admins or specific profiles. then click Install at the bottom of the page.

When prompted. Check the tick box and Continue.

Wait for the installation to complete.

Assign your user to make phone calls in Salesforce CRM

Login into the vocphone portal. Navigate to Users.

Choose the user you want to make phone calls in salesforce CRM.

Find the Salesforce Settings and Assign the salesforce user you want to connect to this vocphone user(extension) to make phone calls via VOCPhone Call Center in Salesforce CRM.

Before going to this steps make sure you already installed the app. Start with clicking the App Launcher Icon and find VOCPhone Apps

A tab named “VOCPhone“ should appear at the bottom of the page. Otherwise please check if the call center is assigned to the users by following the steps of Manually assigning VOCPhone Call Center to your Salesforce Account.

Click it to open to enable the click to dial feature. The dial pad should appear in the app.

Note: If the app is stuck in the spinning loader. Try to Hard refresh the page or Login-Logout the account.


The phone icons should appear without the slashes, this means the click to dial is now enabled.

Manually Assigning the VOCPhone Call Center into your salesforce user. (Optional)

The VOCPhone Call Center was installed via App Package. Before you can use it, you have to assign a call center into your salesforce user.

Login to your Salesforce account. Go to Setup(with color blue gear icon) as shown in the image below.

Type “Users” in the Quick Find box in the left Pane. Navigate into it.

Choose the user you want to integrate with and click Edit button beside it.

Scroll down and find the Call Center input and click the magnifying glass button to select a call center.

Select VOCPhone Call Center by clicking it.

Click the App Launcher Icon, type and select VOCPhone Apps

The VOCPhone tab should appear at the bottom of the page and you should open it to enable the click to dial.
